Camp Inspire: Week 2: July 15 - July 18, 2024

Students can select ONE camp per week (i.e. Art or STEM). Half the day is dedicated to the student's selection and the other half is dedicated to the Confidence Camp. All students are required to attend the full day of camp - no exceptions.

Week 2: ART: Superstar Stenciling & Printmaking

If you have an interest and appreciation for cool prints, patterns, and designs then Superstar Stenciling and Printmaking may be the perfect camp for you!

Stenciling and printmaking are fun and interesting forms of creative expression that have existed for thousands of years. Each allows you to duplicate your own design through a variety of processes and techniques. You will learn about their similarities and differences, explore their uses, and most importantly experiment with your own stenciling and printmaking designs! This class will use traditional and nontraditional tools. Additionally, you will spend your time in the beautiful GMAHS art studio!

Week 2: STEM: Music Video & Podcasting Studio

We all love making videos. It is such a fun a creative way to share our love for our favorite song and dance moves. But have you ever wondered how Olivia, Taylor, Beyonce or Dua produce the music videos that inspire our favorite dance moves?

Music Video Studio is a camp designed to give you an inside view of how a professional music video is made. You will learn about idea conceptualization, story boarding, location scouting, shooting, editing, choreography, costuming and selecting your cast & crew! Using your creativity and Gwynedd’s tech software, you will confidently produce your very own music video, with some help from your new camp friends of course!

As a bonus you will also learn about podcasting through Gwynedd’s onsite Podcast Studio. You will build upon your story telling skills from Music Video Studio and leverage software to add music and sound effects as you record your very own podcast.
